The new computer is working great. Everything we had before was compatible except for Richard's diabetes log program, but he can go to the website to print out reports. The only problem would be if he had an appointment and needed to print a report, but the net was out. He might keep the old computer just for that. I said maybe we could give it to his parents, then he could use it when he wanted. They have our previous one before that and basically just use it to play games like Solitare and such. We have a bigger screen, so the recommended resolution was 1400 x 900. A lot of webpages (including mine) are set up for 1024 by 768, so the pages usually just center, but you have a lot of wasted space. However, if I set the resolution of this computer at 1024 x 768, the quality wouldn't be all that. It was on that to start with and I decided to try the recommended settings. Everything is smaller, but sharper. Like I said, Lots of pages have wasted space, but that's ok, I reckon.

I sold two items at Gaia today that I hardly use to try to raise some gold for fairy wings. What's a Pixie without wings? I was amazed at how fast those items sold. I did like I do at my shop at Neopets. I search first to see what people are selling for and then offer a lower price. People love a bargain, even if it's neopoints or Gaia gold! Still, those items sold just about as soon as I posted them. Boorah!

I gave him a handmade card today. We like to give cards early so we can enjoy them more. He gave me one too and after he left to go back to work, I walked in the living room and there was a wrapped gift on the fireplace. I am not going to assume it's for me, after all it was beside of Miss Pixie, my mini me. Might be for her, but then again...she's me! I guess I'll find out later what it is.
